SAFETY

Putting our expertise in Nuclear Safety, Operational Safety and Integrated Logistics Support at the service of your projects.

We support you in your projects from design to dismantling of systems and facilities. We guarantee the achievement and maintenance of safety and supportrequirements and performances.

Our offer

We offer a wide range of solutions adapted to your needs with customised support for your projects.

Nuclear Safety :

Our teams of experts assess the Nuclear Safety of your INB and INBS facilities. Through consulting or technical support, we deploy our skills and experience to understand your needs and to address them in the following areas

  • Deterministic safety : Analysis and drafting of safety documents for ASN and ASND facilities and safety authorities: safety baseline, design basis, risk analysis, risk of aggression, request for modifications, authorisation process, updating of RGE, STE, CIA documents, safety classification, etc.
  • Probabilistic Safety : Probabilistic Safety Studies: PSA level 1, PSA level 2, EDI, reliability data, Functional analysis of systems and fault tree modelling, links with FOH teams...
  • Severe accidents : Accidental scenario studies and modelling (tool: ASTEC, etc.).
  • Periodic review : Management and steering, compliance, reassessment, ASN/IRSN relationship, INB decree.
  • Radiation protection : ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) methodology. Preparation and radiological monitoring. Scientific calculation and simulation: calculation of the dose rate at workstations and on transport packaging (tools: Micro Shield, Mercury)
  • Neutronics and criticality - Nuclear Materials Management - Containment Study
  • Crisis management

Operational Safety and Integrated Logistics Support :

In the field of Dependability and Integrated Logistic Support (ILSS), we offer our analysis, predictive assessment and optimization capabilities of the FMDS attributes: Reliability, Maintainability, Availability, Security, while adapting them to the new challenges of digital transformation, new technologies and normative evolution.

  • Dysfunctional analysis of systems: Support and/or management of FMDS studies (reliability, maintainability, operational availability, safety).
  • Functional Safety : Deploy a preventive approach to risks in order to correctly identify, evaluate, quantify, prioritize, control and manage systems' feared events. Specify and demonstrate ASIL, SIL, PL & DAL objectives in compliance with IEC 61508, ISO 13849 and related standards.
  • Integrated Logistics Support and Asset Management: Integration of the MCO (Maintenance in Operational Condition) issue into all phases of the system life cycle at the lowest cost. Optimization of the "performance / total cost of ownership" ratio. We develop logistical support analyses (LSA), model and evaluate life cycle cost forecasts (LCC).

With regard to the control of your systems' operational safety, we bring you our expertise in order to design the support system in a coherent manner and simultaneously with the design of the main system. The Integrated Logistic Support and Asset Management approaches aim at finding the best compromise between the global cost of ownership and the system performance (and in particular the operational availability).

Julien R.

Passionate and involved in automotive design for 20 years, I discovered the profession of functional safety and its multiple facets through the various projects on which I worked or supervised teams. What I like about RAMS studies is that our work touches on all the disciplines of the engineering profession: system design, HW electronics, SW, mechanical sizing, ergonomics, etc. Depending on the subject, we do not call on the same skills; we are therefore continually enriched! At Seres Technologies, I immediately felt that dynamism and expertise were the levers used to stimulate development: it's extremely motivating!

As soon as I graduated, I turned to risk management by joining INSA CVL. In my 3rd year, I specialized in Safety of Operation in the transport sector and it is quite naturally that I did an internship on the realization of a risk analysis for a tramway operator. My career in the field of Operational Safety was thus launched. 12 years later and after 2 enriching experiences for Bombardier and Alstom, I decided to join SERES Technologies in order to participate in the development of the company in the field of Railway Safety. And one can say that it is really motivating. I found everything I was looking for: various and varied projects, dynamism, listening, good atmosphere, personal enrichment...
